EAGeR
A few more details on the EAGeR study:
EAGeR aims to recruit 1600 women aged 18-40 who have had one or two miscarriages in the past and who are actively trying to conceive. The study is conducted at three clinical sites: The University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, the University at Buffalo, in Buffalo, New York and Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton Pennsylvania. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either low-dose aspirin (LDA) or placebo and all receive folic acid. Follow-up continues for up to six menstrual cycles (about six months) if not becoming pregnant or until end of pregnancy. The main study outcome is live birth but all phases of reproduction and gestation will be assessed.

EAGeR was launched in June 2007 and will continue for five years.

The data coordinating center for EAGeR is at the University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel. If you have any questions about the website please email us at haifa-dcc@hevra.haifa.ac.il

EAGeR is supported by the NICHD.
